Accounts Payable and Receivable Assistant – Real Estate-London

OUR CLIENT is part of an established global property empire which specialises in UK leisure property investment and asset management. They have instructed us to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant with exposure to both AR and AP to join their finance team and report directly to the Finance Manager.

THE ROLE will be involved in all aspects of both accounts payables and receivables relating to recharges and internal management fees, which will include the following:

  • Inputting invoices onto the in-house system.
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure account information is accurate.
  • Managing Supplier payments with remittances.
  • Managing Supplier account reconciliations.
  • Managing the set-up, cancellation and return of direct debit payments.
  • Raising administration fees and sundry ad hoc invoices.
  • Raising monthly management fees.
  • Managing council tax refunds.
  • Raising quarterly interest demands.
  • Processing refunds from utility provider.
  • Providing administrative support to the team

THE PERSON The successful candidate MUST have experience within the property / real estate industry as well as accounts payable and receivable functions and related duties and responsibilities. You should be extremely organised with excellent time management skills, as well as solid Excel skills. You should also be motivated and enthusiastic with strong communication skills - all which will help you engage with individuals across the business at all levels.
