OUR CLIENT is a global real estate investor and services company that provides industry-leading portfolio management and also develops and manages premier real estate with a focus on maximizing the tenant experience in addition to the investment and operational performance of the asset. They have instructed us to recruit a qualified Asset Manager to take on a portfolio of core commercial assets. 


THE ROLE: Reporting directly to the Vice President of Asset Management, with full responsibility for the Asset Management of a number of specific Central London assets. Main responsibilities will include:

  • Optimising asset value and lead on proactive engagement relative to lease events;
  • Leading on the interface with the Legal and Leasing teams for their assets;
  • Providing Asset Management input into Quarterly Board Reporting, Business Planning and Bank Reporting;
  • Contributing and communicating with JV partners, supporting Investment Management;
  • Leading on Asset Management recommendations for Capex expenditure and Leasing matters, relative to their assets;
  • Leading interface with key tenants on their assets;
  • Liaising with key local stakeholders relative to the assets;
  • Collaborating with Investment Management and Finance as required on lending matters across those assets, including updating/reporting and obtaining approvals;
  • Ensuring all the necessary insurances are in place for the assets;
  • Ensuring Landlord & Tenant Act compliance and interface with legal as required;
  • Providing Asset Management input into Quarterly Valuations; valuations undertaken in Argus Enterprise, as well as liaising with external third-party Valuers on an annual basis. Investment Management lead on Quarterly Valuations and Reporting;
  • Providing support and input on Finance matters – including Audit and Compliance;
  • Overseeing and interfacing with the Property Managing Agent;
  • Interfacing and providing input and approvals for Tenant Fit-out as required;
  • Leading on value enhancing projects and communicating with the Vice President and any appointed Project Teams to deliver Capex projects;
  • Interacting with local leasing and investment agents, as necessary, to support above role and to feed in to reporting;


THE PERSON – To apply, you will be MRICS qualified, with a minimum 2 years post qualification experience for an owner or advisor and have a commercial and entrepreneurial approach to Asset Management. It is desirable that you have central London asset exposure and that you have ideally had exposure to both strategic asset management and have project managed – refurbs / development and capital works – You will be a good communicator with solid interpersonal skills and sound commercial acumen. Candidates seeking to apply should also be highly IT literate and possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Working knowledge of ARGUS is a plus.
