Our Client – is a property company expert in the Collaborative Work Space sector with offices all around UK. They have now instructed us to recruit a ‘Campus Host’ to act as front of house and the face of the building community and take care of their newly opened property in Reading

 

The Role – Working 9.00 am to 1.00 pm As a Campus Host you will be reporting directly to the Asset Management Director and you will be the first point of contact to the occupiers, expressing the vibrancy of the company and embracing their values in everything you do. Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Managing and maintaining company building and its services and amenities.
  • Organising networking and other events.
  • Liaising with Managing Agent to ensure that all services are supplied to occupiers efficiently, and to agreed service levels.
  • Making sure that company remain competitive compared to their peers.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for members (tenants).
  • Developing and maintaining good contacts / relationships with the local community.
  • Undertaking viewings with potential occupiers and update Enquiry schedule weekly.
  • Inspecting all office spaces post and pre move in and on a monthly basis in line with Campus Manager/Centre Hosts manual.
  • Liaising with managing agent to deliver building services. – IT, CCTV, cleaning, refurbishment, health and safety.
  • Managing meeting room facilities and bookings.
  • Maintaining interior of the building, ensuring decorating and furniture requirements are kept up to standard.
  • Carrying out required duties to ensure Health and Safety conditions in the building are compliant.
  • Maintaining key inventory list.
  • Coordinating, organizing and monitoring marketing and letting of vacant space to maximize income.
  • Maintaining availability on the company’s' Website, monitoring Social Media, and delivering content for Shared media between the sites.
  • Assisting with wider marketing and social networking on other projects.

 

The Person – To be successful in the role you must demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skill (warmth, diplomacy) and an upbeat, positive attitude with understanding of customer service and hospitality. You will have ideally worked in a similar role / capacity and have had some related customer service / tenant / property experience but the role would also suite a bright graduate. The ideal candidate will be resourceful and creative in problem solving and also have the ability to work autonomously. You should enjoy multitasking and dealing with the unexpected.
