Client Accounting Manager – Real Estate-London

Our Client is an established property management organisation who through continuous growth are looking to expand their finance team.


The Role will be reporting to and providing support to the Financial Controller with the running of the client accounting team. Along with managing a team the successful Candidate will be accountable for maintaining an accurate and up to date set of financial records for the clients:

  • Taking responsibility of a complex property portfolio and producing year-end accounts (ETB’s).
  • Overseeing the production of service charge accounts for the other properties.
  • Preparing budget packs and reviewing content with the property managers.
  • Preparing periodic client financial reporting packs.
  • Ensuring all bank reconciliations have been carried out across the portfolio.
  • Ensuring posting of client receipts.
  • Updating accounts checklist with progress of budgets, accounts and periodic reporting.
  • Carrying out 1-2-1’s, team meetings, handling new starters / leavers.


The Person: must have sound technical property accounting experience including ability to produce extended trial balances (ETBs), this experience will ideally be gained from a block management company.  This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a pro-active approach.  Strong communication skills (written and verbal) are essential to be able to deal with staff, tenants, and landlords. The incumbent will be tech savvy with good knowledge of a property management system such as MRI QUBE, YARDI or TRAMPS.
