Client Accounts Team Leader - Real Estate-London

Our Client is an up and coming property management firm with a strong residential property portfolio. They are now seeking a Team Leader to join and help with the running for their client / service charge accounting function.


The Role will include but not limited to:  

  • Leading and mentoring a number of client and service charge accountants.
  • Preparing end of year service charge accounts and ensuring they are submitted on time.
  • Assisting with the preparation of accruals and prepayments and creating schedules for their approvals.
  • Responsible for calculation and input of year end accounts for leaseholders.
  • Managing budget uploads onto a property management systems and ensuring demands are raised accordingly.
  • Providing relevant information to clients to help support VAT returns for HMRC
  • Ensuring client accounts are reconciled.
  • Being a point of contact to existing and new clients.
  • Assisting with staff appraisals, recruitment and reviews.


The Person must have excellent client accounting experience, ideally gained from working with the residential / block management field. The person will be a self-motivated individual who has the drive to lead and manage a team of skilled accountants. Good, solid organisational and time management skills are a must as the department (and company) continue to grow rapidly. The applicant must have strong communication skills as the role does require a lot of client contact.
