Our Client is a well-established commercial property management company who have forged a strong reputation for providing their propco, family trust high net worth individual clients. The team manage properties across the UK covering various commercial asset classes including high street retail, offices and warehouses. They are now looking for an experienced Commercial Property Manager to join the organisation and assist with the daily operations of their fast expanding portfolio. 


The Role:

  • Managing Lease and Tenancy Schedules.
  • Liaising with auctioneers, agents, surveyors, solicitors, and valuers in connections with property purchases and sales.
  • Instructing and liaising with contractors for repairs and maintenance.
  • Carrying out property inspections.
  • Carrying out rent reviews, lease renewals and lease regears, with a view to maximise the value.
  • Refurbishing assets to maximise value.
  • Sourcing further property acquisitions nationally.
  • Liaising with Solicitors and Surveyors to ensure all matters are dealt with promptly.
  • Dealing with applications for assignments and licences from tenants.
  • Preparing reports for client meetings.
  • Liaising with property management accounts team on production of annual service charge budgets, approving reconciliations and rent raising reports.
  • Undertaking service charge expenditure budgets, monitoring expenses and reporting.
  • Setting up new properties on the Database.
  • Overseeing the Insurance portfolio. To include, insurance policies are up-to-date, billing queries and claims, liaising with the insurance brokers.
  • Health & Safety and Asbestos Management.
  • Reviewing investment details.


The Person - In order to apply, you MUST have a minimum 5 years' experience as a Commercial Property Manager covering offices, retail and industrial assets.  The ideal candidate will be a qualified chartered surveyor and be able to run a considerable portfolio without senior supervision. You MUST have excellent time management, communication and problem solving skills.
