Our Client is a well-established property organisation with offices across London and the South East. They have been serving mainly the residential property markets for over 30 years and are now seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their prestigious and successful accounting team.


The Role: Reporting to the Head of Finance will require someone to oversee a team of Client Accountants and fulfil the duties:

  • Handling more complex portfolios / clients and producing their accounts, performing bank reconciliations, preparing client statements and so for.
  • Overseeing and supporting Client Accountants in the production of lettings accounts.
  • Managing the credit controllers and ensuring all debt is chased in a timely manor.
  • Conducting one to ones, recruiting new staff, handling disciplinaries, holidays and staff absences.
  • Preparing plans to develop the team and performance.
  • Managing audit controls.
  • Promoting the company ethics and goals.
  • Covering the Head of Finance during holidays / absences.


The Person: to apply must be an experienced Property / Client Accountant with at least 5 years of experience working for an estate agency (ideally in a large team). A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential to ensure the team is also well supported. It is also essential the person is able to deal with high volumes of information and data. Strong IT skills are needed along with sound knowledge of Excel. The incumbent will have an eye for detail, problem solving, and excellent communication skills. This is a very good opportunity to work with an established ‘brand’ in the property sector.
