Group Financial Controller – Real Estate-London

OUR CLIENT - Is an active, dynamic and ambitious Real Estate Investment Manager who focus at the opportunistic and value add end of the commercial property sector. They have a proven track record of delivery have transacted well over £500m since their inception. As a result of continued growth and opportunities, they are currently seeking a high calibre Group Financial Controller to join their Accounts team. 

THE ROLE will include:

• Undertaking the financial reporting for both lenders and investors.
• Liaising with external auditors to facilitate the preparation of company accounts and corporate services.
• Providing assistance with the structuring of new investments.
• Monitoring senior-debt covenants and confirming observance to other terms within the facility documentation.
• Preparing annual accounts and quarterly management accounts of real estate companies.
• Managing the cash flow.
• Providing assistance with distributions, capital calls and utilisation requests.
• Undertaking credit analysis.
• Co-ordinating tax compliance, including the approval of NRL tax returns.

THE PERSON – YOU will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA) with at least 4/5 years PQE and with recent tangible experience gained within a commercial Real Estate Fund, PE house or RE Investment Manager. To thrive in this role, it is essential that you are  ambitious, organised and dynamic, with strong communication skills and the proven ability to work to deadlines. Exposure to a variety of offshore structures / vehicles is beneficial and you should also be a strong manager of people. This Role offers an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to join a dynamic accounts team within a fast-growing and pro-active company.
