Our Client is unique business who have been operating in the property sector for approximately 10 years. They offer various services to a range of property companies, occupiers which include property management, facilities management and agency services. They specialise mainly in commercial space across central London and the Home Counties. They are now looking for a part time Purchase Ledger Assistant to contribute to their continuing success.

 

The Role is responsible for, yet not limited to:  

  • Checking, approving and processing purchase invoices on to the property system.
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors in relation to purchase invoices and payments.
  • Working with the new landlords or agents following sale or purchase of a new building or transfer of agency.
  • Processing the change of tenancies on the property management system.
  • Handling supplier queries.
  • Credit control duties including chasing tenants for outstanding rents and updating the system.
  • Reviewing the utilities contracts.

 

The Person will have accounting / bookkeeping / purchase ledger experience gained from a property firm (property management / estate agency) – please note this is a must. Good, solid organisational skills are needed as part of this busy role which will be supporting a number of people in the business. This is a great chance for someone to gain some good experience and work for a commercial, fast paced business. You will want to enjoy being part of team while simultaneously being able to develop your own career. It will be highly advantageous if you have experience of using a property management system / database. This role will be a great opportunity for you to expand your accounting career with a progressive firm.
