Property Accounts Assistant – Residential Real Estate-London

Our Client is a well-established and renowned Property Management company that have been around for over 40 years specialising mainly within Block Management. They have now instructed us to find a Junior Property Accounts Assistant to join their prestigious accounts team.


The Role: The successful candidate for the Property Accounts Assistant role must assume the following responsibilities:

  • Processing supplier invoices which includes gaining authorisation, posting them and making the payments
  • Sending out weekly remittance advice.
  • Assisting with the quarterly budget v actual, expenditure listings.
  • Producing arrears reports for the Directors of each building.
  • Processing budgets through the property system.
  • Raising demands in accordance with new figures
  • Sending out quarterly demands and ground rent invoices
  • Posing client receipts including BACS, Cheques and Cash.
  • Performing monthly bank and petty cash reconciliations
  • Posting billing major works/tenant recharges as and when required.
  • Responsible for the credit control.
  • Ensuring all utilities are in contract and ensuring meter reading being regularly taken.


The Person will have previous background experience in property management accounting and have worked in a similar environment. The successful candidate must also show a good understanding of property management systems such as MRI QUBE / TRAMPS / YARDI as well as Excel. The incumbent must also have good communication skills both verbally and written. They should show that they are 'hands on' and willing to learn.
