Our CLIENT - Has instructed us on a brand new hire within their finance team. They have a proven track record of delivery within the real estate sector, and they are now looking for a Property Cashier to join their Surrey based property finance team to focus on maintaining and controlling the bank accounts and cash transactions.

THE ROLE of Cashier will include but not limited to: 

  • Maintaining bank accounts in accordance with FCA & RICS client money regulations.
  • Maintaining all cash books accurately and up to date on a daily basis.
  • Producing cheques and arranging money transfers as required.
  • Transferring to/from clients’ main accounts according to funding.
  • Reconciling daily, client bank accounts onto their property system.
  • Banking tenant receipts, daily after due diligence.
  • Resolving unidentified transactions and queries.
  • Assisting the Manager and Purchase Ledger team in day-to-day tasks
  • Logging and posting to Residential invoices.
  • Adhering to ISO9001 quality assurance procedures and carry out the role having regard to the provisions of the Policy.


THE PERSON: To apply, you MUST have prior experience of working in the property/real estate sector with experience of carrying out Cashiering /Accounts Receivable duties along with strong bank reconciliations experience. The successful candidate will have good Microsoft Excel skills as well as experience using a Property Management CRM system such as Yardi/QUBE/Tramps etc. Whilst initially working from home this position will eventually be based in their Surrey office so the preferred candidate must be comfortable and able to travel to the office. Follow us on Twitter and on LinkedIn or like us on Facebook
