Our Client is a family-run property management company working with both residential and commercial leaseholders. The continued success of the company has resulted in an expansion of the property management department and the close-knit, team environment promises for further growth. The Role:

  • Managing a portfolio of residential blocks.
  • Attending site visits and completing inspections and reports.
  • Arranging reactive works as a result of the site visits.
  • Responsible for the schedule of planned works and issuing work orders to contractors as a result.
  • Drafting and issuing section 20 consultation notices for major works.
  • Assisting and providing feedback and recommendations with regards to setting service charge budgets.
  • Overseeing on-site staff and works such as gardening works, cleaning and so forth.
  • Liaising with 3rd party professionals such as contractors and surveyors.
  • Ensuring works are carried out within budget and on time.
  • Attending meetings with lessees and residents.

 

The Person must have at least 2-3 years’ experience in block property management and ideally be IRPM qualified. You must also be able to read, understand and interpret leases as well as have a good working knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation. Excellent organisation and communication skills are vital and will be used when organising and attending meetings with lessees and residents. You must also have competent knowledge of MS office and ideally a property management system. A clean driving licence and the ability to drive to site visits is desired, but not essential.
