OUR CLIENT is an established, fully integrated, Pan-European real estate group which provides a complete suite of services for its investors including asset and portfolio management, as well as property and development management. After recent continued expansion and corporate reorganisation and positioning, a new alliance has further created an even stronger and more comprehensive European property investment management platform which has led to further investment across asset classes and a healthy pipeline within the residential PRS sector. This in turn has created an opening for a PRS Fund / Portfolio Manager.

THE ROLE will incorporate but not be limited to the following:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for investors and recognising their requirements regarding matters such as reporting, governance, return objectives and strategy.
  • Participating in new fund raising for the PRS product.
  • Fulfilling the requirements of the funds.
  • Taking responsibility for and managing the overall organisation of the funds.
  • Communicating effectively with the head of fund management and the Group offices to ensure consistency in communication, reporting and management of the funds.
  • Coordinating investor reporting with the Fund Financial Controller, Client Services and the portfolio management team.
  • Ensuring the fund team are accountable for all fund and asset documentation.
  • Monitoring fiscal, legal and regulatory compliance of funds.
  • Managing the day-to-day activities of the Fund Financial Controller.  
  • Monitoring correspondence with all fund advisors and attaining advice where necessary.
  • Managing banking relationships.

THE PERSON: In order to apply, you MUST have demonstrable experience in the residential / PRS sector (ideally with BTR and ‘affordable housing exposure) and a track record of achieving high levels of client / investor satisfaction. You will be a strong communicator and presenter of information with previous exposure of presenting to investors and running transaction processes. You will be charged with coordinating an effective team between the different functions in the PRS environment: transaction sourcing and closing, asset and property management, portfolio and fund management and investor relations and realise outperformance relative to the fund’s return targets and therefore you MUST have a proven track record in running and influencing teams to reach maximum performance and be a team player who also has the ability to establish effective team relationships.
