Our Client has instructed us on a brand new hire created through pipeline and increased investment activity  – They have a proven track record of delivery within the commercial real estate sector across the United Kingdom. They consistently provide asset management and investment services on behalf of their investors. As a result of continued growth, they are currently seeking a high calibre 1st / 2nd year Real Estate Analyst to join their notable and tight-knit team.


The Role – As their Real Estate Analyst, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Taking complete responsibility for the use, development and maintenance of the company’s Excel underwriting model.
  • Preparing cash flow models from scratch for investment and development acquisitions.
  • Analysing multiple assumptions including tenant / occupier quality whilst making use of financial reports and other publicly available data.
  • Conducting sensitivity analysis for comparative purposes.
  • Undertaking location and sub-sector analysis and research.
  • Reporting regularly throughout a project including origination, acquisition, post-completion, and delivery.
  • Handling correspondence from clients, supplier, external consultants and agents in a swift and reliable manner.
  • General management of corporate and electronic files.
  • Participate in property inspections to ensure acquaintance with client’s portfolio.
  • Maintaining, promoting, and developing client, partner and agent relationships.

The Person – You will be self-motivated, well-organised and possess strong analytical skills. You will have 1 - 2 years’ experience within a real estate analyst role. You will ideally have experience underwriting investment deals using Excel as this role is heavily analytically focussed. You will be proficient using all Microsoft packages. Experience within commercial real estate is preferable. Achievement of CFA level 1 or working towards this goal (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
