Senior Block Property Manager, Residential Property Management-Central London

Our Client is a Central London based firm of Chartered Surveyors. Their clients range from private individuals to funds and institutions; the asset classes are spread across commercial and residential properties. They are looking for an experienced Block Property Manager, with ambition to join their residential property management team.

The Role will be reporting to the Directors and overseeing one member of staff. You will be required to carry out the following duties:

  • Managing a high-end central London residential block portfolio.
  • Preparing service charge budgets and annual service charge reconciliations.
  • Overseeing and managing site staff.
  • Carrying out regular site visits.
  • Instructing contractors and overseeing he works.
  • Serving section 20 notices.
  • Arranging and attending AGMs / resident committee meetings.
  • Sourcing new contractors, appointing contractors and suppliers.
  • Handling all aspects of insurance and/or insurance claims.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety compliance.


The Person to apply you MUST have at least 3 years residential, block property management experience and ideally be IRPM qualified. Good, solid understanding and experience of service charges are essential and knowledge of handling landlord and tenant matters will be useful. Strong communication skills are vital as part of this client/customer facing position. It will be highly advantageous if you have experience of working in a small team / company environment.
