Our Client are a nationwide commercial real estate management consultancy. The portfolio is a highly specific one but well recognised across the country as part of the continuous growth of the department they are looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join the team.

The Role will include the following duties;

  • Managing the facilities for a mixed commercial portfolio across the South East region.
  • Enhancing the facilities, looking at ways to improve facilities in large public areas.
  • Being responsible for the full health and safety of the premises.
  • Working with third party providers such as tenant’s architects, designers and contractors in relation to works.
  • Promoting use of energy efficient products in all tenant’s works and where applicable challenge tenants to use more energy efficient materials.
  • Working with the tenants and landlords to minimise disruption to daily working.
  • Managing two other Surveyors and overseeing their regions.


The Person: To apply you MUST be either MRICS qualified, qualified by experience or have a RICS accredited degree with at least 5+ years experience of facilities or building management experience. The successful candidate will report to clients directly and provide both high levels and detailed advice therefore strong communication and inter-personal skills is key. The role requires someone who will relate to clients, tenants and colleagues at all levels and have good presentational skills and experience of presenting to clients. The incumbent will have a proven ability to work in a team environment with a dedicated approach to project deadlines and be willing to travel within the UK.
