OUR CLIENT is an established and well-funded international real estate investment and asset management firm, who have amassed an impressive array of commercial assets. Now the Client is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Asset Manager to join their prestigious Asset Management Team to work on the strategy of each asset in relation to all aspects of property and asset management.


THE ROLE: The successful Candidate will undertake the duties listed below, but not limited to:

  • Providing assistance in the preparation of business plans, service charge budgets, forecasts, leases, renewals, analysis and approvals as requested by the Asset Manager.
  • Reviewing service charge budgets.
  • Analysing acquisition targets.
  • Liaising with the client accounting team and property managers to ensure all assets are operating efficiently.
  • Working closely with 3rd party advisers to execute lease transactions where necessary; assisting with investment analysis and reporting.
  • Producing high quality reports on both a regular and ad-hoc basis.
  • Performing other tasks delegated as required.
  • Performing periodic property site inspections to ensure property performance against plan.
  • Collecting market data and conducting benchmarking analysis.
  • Assisting in the valuation of properties and investment reports annually or more frequently if necessary.
  • Managing requests for assignments, subleases and similar tenant requests.


THE PERSON: To apply for the role, you should be a qualified surveyor or an active studier to become MRICS - APC students will be considered but should ideally hold a degree in Real Estate or related subject. It is essential that you have commercial property management or asset management experience. The role will suit an individual with strong analytical skills and a confident user of Microsoft Office products, database management and reporting. If you have good organisational skills along with written and oral communication skills and being able to multi-task working in a fast-paced, team centred, results-driven environment, it could be opportunity for you to progress your professional career within well-known and stable business.

Hybrid working is offered but the AM team tends to be in c4 days because of the remit of the role.
