OUR CLIENT is an expanding international group who have made substantial investments in the UK property market. As they continue to grow and progress their UK business and next stage of their new investments, they have instructed us to help them employ a highly experienced Property Accountant on a contract basis working 3 days a week on a Hybrid work model (1 day in the office).

THE ROLE:

• You should be familiar with Commercial Offices and landlord and tenant roles.
• Possess good knowledge and experience of Service Charges for Commercial Offices.
• Awareness of Landlord costs and what is typically funded by them and recommending invoices for payment approval.
• Monitoring monthly expenditure against service charge budget and landlord costs budget.
• Understanding of landlord and tenant utilities billing.
• High level understanding of rates and a good grasp of void costs for commercial offices.
• Experience of detailed, accurate Quarterly Corporate Reporting.

THE PERSON: The successful candidate is expected to have 5-10+ years of accounting experience working within the commercial property sector. You will be a good communicator as well as a team player. The successful candidate will have good knowledge of systems used in property accounting. Excellent command of verbal and written English is a must. This is a great opportunity to work in a varied and sole charge capacity where the client offers a part time hybrid working model on a 12 months contract basis.
