Our Client, a well-respected and established firm of Chartered Surveyors that has garnered a reputation as one of Central London’s most successful residential and commercial property management companies, are currently looking for a Junior Property Manager to join their Client Accounts team.

The Role will see the individual reporting directly to the Director of Property Management and Client Accounts, assisting with responsibilities such as:

  • Ensuring that clients primary contacts are contacted on a regular basis.
  • Ensuring that recommendations for landlord improvements or regarding tenant applications to assign, sublet or make alterations are made promptly.
  • Carrying out regular property inspections to ensure compliance with Lease Holder Agreements and Supplier Service Level Agreements.
  • Confirming that all properties are compliant with all Health & Safety and other statutory requirements.
  • Liaising with the credit control teams to resolve any outstanding credit control issues.
  • Arranging regular re-instatement cost assessments.
  • Confirming that all buildings are adequately insured at all times, and that all relevant insurance claims are accurately completed.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the budgets, as well as effectively controlling the finances of every property.
  • Appropriately and promptly dealing with any service charge cost disputes.
  • Identifying new business development opportunities and following them up directly.

The Person would ideally be fully qualified (MRICS) and should have some form of work experience relating to property management. The person would also ideally be competent in using a property management system such as TRAMPS, YARDI or QUBE. Furthermore, if you have experience of handling service charge budgets, you have strong written and oral communication skills, and if you are the type of person to thrive when working both collaboratively and when under pressure, then this proves to be a very exciting opportunity for you to apply for.
