OUR CLIENT is one of the most successful and acclaimed property owners based in Central London. They are known for owning and managing a large portfolio of commercial and residential assets throughout Central London and other major regions across the UK. They are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger/AP Clerk to join their reputable accounts team at their offices in London.

THE ROLE will see the individual reporting directly to a Department Supervisor, carrying out responsibilities such as:

  • Processing, coding, posting and allocating of supplier invoices.
  • Responsible for supplier account reconciliations.
  • Liaising with suppliers and in-house property managers, face to face and by telephone.
  • Assisting with purchase ledger queries.
  • Setting up suppliers.
  • Reconciling letting agent statements.
  • Filing and liaising with scanning department.
  • Carrying out ad-hoc admin tasks.
  • Posting of credit card expenses and reconciling credit card monthly statements.
  • Reconciling residential lease balances including refunds of tenant deposits and raising either CHAPS payments or cheques back to tenants or intercompany.

THE PERSON will be required to demonstrate relevant previous experience of working within the property sector. The person should also be able to demonstrate solid property knowledge from both the commercial and residential sectors. You should also have prior experience of using a property management system such as Horizon, Qube or Yardi. If you possess these characteristics, you have strong organisational skills, and you are at a point of your career where you are content with settling into an AP role for the long-term, then this proves to be a very strong opportunity for you to apply for.
