OUR CLIENT is an established propco and family office with decades of specialism within the real estate sector across the majority of asset classes and act as owner, developer and asset /investment manager. They are now looking for a Service Charge Accountant to join their finance team in North London. The role can equally be done on a full or part-time (3-4 days a week) basis.
THE ROLE: Reporting to Head of Finance and Head of Property, you will be responsible for:
THE PERSON: To apply, you must have experience in real estate – ideally commercial or at least mixed-use, and ideally be familiar with concepts of major works charge funds, reserve funds, sinking funds etc. It would be very helpful if you are familiar with statutory timetables governing residential and commercial service charge accounting as well as RICS Professional Code governing commercial service charge accounting. You are expected to be a confident user of property management systems such as MRI QUBE, YARDI or similar and be proficient user of Excel. It is also highly desirable you have experience with double-entry bookkeeping. If you have good attention to detail and have relevant experience, this will be a brilliant opportunity to develop your professional career within well-known and stable business.
