An analysis has found that foreigners bought four in 10 London homes that sold for more than £1m last year.

 

Russians, Indians and Italians were the biggest non-British buyers, according to the Beechcraft Corporation. It found that the number of homes sold for more than £1m in Greater London climbed 20% last year to 6,145. Civitas said restrictions should be placed on overseas investment in London homes.
